Internationally renowned London based wildlife photographer and musician Saleel Tambe will help IAHV to raise funds for underprivileged school children in India. Rahul Laud reports 

For those who love nature and photography, the Read Library; an INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION FOR HUMAN VALUES (IAHV) initiative are organizing a evening of storytelling on nature through breath-taking wildlife photography. The event will be held on  Saturday 21, January between 4:00 pm- 6:00 pm at  Greenwich Yacht Club, Pear Tree Wharf, Pear Tree Way,Greenwich .

At the enthralling and interactive session of stories and visuals London based, Saleel Tambe who is an IT Professional and an internationally renowned wildlife, nature photographer and a performing musician will take the audience for an immersive experience on a wildlife journey through his lens!

A fundraiser event by: IAHV, the Read Library Project Proceeds from this event will go to libraries on turnkey basis for underprivileged schools in India.

According to Project Leader Ashish Monga ,  ‘’Read Library Trust works with schools and organisations to set up library / reading rooms for disadvantaged children in India..

Monga said , ‘’We genuinely believe that education and knowledge through books can touch lives of children and open up their world to infinite possibilities and inspire them to dream and broaden their outlook.
Over the last 4 years, we have help to set up libraries in Bhuj, Bangalore, Delhi, Ladakh to name a few in our small little way. ‘’

’’We hope that we can provide a small and meaningful contribution to bring books to children and hopefully touch their lives in a positive way.’’

Monga added , ‘’So far, we have impacted the lives of 5000+ children spanning across 70+ school libraries in 11 states in India. Having circulated more than 30,000 books, we aim to scale higher to be able to reach more children and provide them with better avenues.’’

Shailen Mittal , Member Core Management committee of IAHV UK said, ‘’Our goal is to promote essential

human values through education, communications and outreach programmes. Our aim is to promote an awareness of the importance of human values, encourage their development, and to initiate and support projects in the UK and throughout the world that meet the fundamental objectives of the IAHV organisation in Human Values.’’
